Three Peas In A Pod

The wild and crazy ride of raising our triplets: Rowan, Eli, and Finn!

Look Ma! No Tubes! August 3, 2008

Well, 2 out of 3 isn’t bad.  Eli and Finn no longer have their feeding tubes; they have both taken all of their feeds by bottle consistently over the last few days.  I guess they heard me talking about them the other day 😉  Rowan still has his tube for now because he still plays possum every once in a while; hopefully his will be out in a day or two.  At this rate, they should start making their way home either this week or the next :O  I am so thankful to possibly be nearing the light at the end of the tunnel on the NICU journey; and the light better not be another train! Below are some pics of the boys from today.  Hope things are going great for everybody; thanks for checking in on us and I love hearing from everybody.

Lots of love, Renita

They are so beautiful! When they get older they will just be handsome but right now they are beautiful. We are just so anxious to see them again. Maybe we will get to before they go home. We will all have to just let you have a little time with them before everyone pounces on them. We will let you know if we are coming. Love you alll. Mammaw and Pappaw

I can’t believe how much they have grown just this past week! They are really starting to fill out those preemie clothes. Rowan isn’t shy, that’s just his way of telling ya’ll he will eat when he’s good and ready. And Eli is looking better and better. I still can’t believe he and Finn are doing so good on their feeds. It certainly appears like it won’t be long now before your house will become a litle more, um, interesting? Course it certainly hasn’t been boring around there lately to say the least! Hope to see you soon.

    Love to all!

Renita. Your boys are so beautiful. I log on to the internet every morning to see how they are progressing. I love all the pictures. They are a lot alike. Is it hard to tell them apart or are they already showing differences? They are so precious and I know that you are so proud of them. They are little fighters. You look great and you hang in there. The future has many great things ahead for you and your family.

    God Bless!
